We have to appreciate the fact that this guy gained over 90 pounds on purpose to participate in a reality TV show. (Do we have another K-Fed wannabe here?)
It is a bit painful to watch him go from fab to flab in a 6 month period. This type of faking obesity is shameful because it doesn’t compare with a person who has been overweight for years or their whole life. We can bet that the fat didn’t have enough time to reach and build up around his ankles yet.
This trainer (or the possible reality tv show) should be nominated for the Darwin Awards for literally destroying his body and inflicting bodily mutilation through food.
A women in her early 30’s was doing a two day liquid diet in hopes of dropping 5 more pounds. The diet included a couple of bottles of juice like liquids that cost around $120 to help with detox.
Her reason was that the guy she adores but had not seen in the last two years was moving closer to her vicinity for his new job.
The caveat was that she was not over weight by a long shot at 5 feet 10 inches, and weighed 120 lbs at the time. Any thinner, she could have been labeled with an eating disorder. In the end, why are people so crazy thinking that an extra 5 pounds would make them perfect?
Even if she did manage to achieve the 115 lbs at 5’10, she wouldn’t be healthy and risk a lot to gain a relationship that subjects her to looking thin.
Let’s repeat that again. Cereal is bad for weight loss.
A majority of cereals have a lot of sugar. When mixed with milk, it is a double whammy on your dieting goals.
If you are serious about losing weight, enjoy yourself a hard boiled egg instead of a bowl of cereal. Then when you are hungry, snack on some cashews and nuts.
Sure, the food choices are not exciting. You want to loss weight right? Then eat healthy.
Does the headline describe the lifestyle you grew up with? Then welcome to bulge generation that is contributing to record numbers being treated in hospitals for obesity. 18-30 year old’s don’t know how to live healthy anymore.
- Start by eating better. Cut out the fast food and junk food from your diet. Educate yourself on better nutrition.
- Stop drinking so much. The culture of Thirsty Thursdays, and pub crawling Fridays are getting out of hand.
- Pick up a real sport or activity. Gaming on your Xbox, or play WOW will only make your butt bigger.
There’s more to life than ice cream, beer / wine, and sitting in front of the television / computer.
Unhealthy eating and foods continue to contribute to the obesity epidemic the same way that smoking contributes to increase incidences of lung cancer. While food corporations make money off sugar water and snacks, they help to create a vicious cycle of obese consumers who cannot control themselves from opening a pack of potato chips or downing a couple of cheap carbonated sugar drinks.
Health experts want to curb the cost of obesity and diabetes by proposing a tax over junk food, and apply that extra money to subsidize and promote healthier foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables.
